Acrison's heavy-duty Model 105 and 140 Series Volumetric Feeders for dry solids feature a unique dissimilar-speed, double concentric auger metering mechanism, engineered to accurately and reliably meter a wide variety of dry solid materials. The mechanism consists of a large conditioning auger, also called an intromitter, concentrically mounted around a smaller, slower-rotating metering auger. A single variable-speed gearmotor drives both augers at a fixed speed ratio to each other.
